I have a half coming up in august in Provo that I talked my wife into trying, and I just started training again for the St George marathon.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Of course I would some day love to qualify for Boston.
Personal:
When I started running, which was back in Feb. of 2007, I weighed 110 lbs. more than I do now. Although I do not run as fast as I would like, I feel like as long as I continue to progress, I can make it to my goals. I have found that running has been essential to keeping the weight off for me. When I start to take it easy after a race is over, that is when the pounds can creep back on!
I intended on running a little longer, but my wife was done at the gym after she finished her session with the trainer. It is probably a good thing, since I am going to try to make the Wed morning run for the first time in a while.
